Buying a Holiday Van
Looking to buy a holiday van at one of our parks? Here’s what you need to know to ensure a smooth and compliant transfer.
Buying a holiday van at a Wollongong City Tourist Park can be a great way to enjoy the coast more often. However, before you commit, it’s important to check that the current owner has written permission to sell and that the van meets all park requirements.
Owners can only sell a holiday van at Wollongong City Tourist Parks if they have written permission from Wollongong City Council.
If you are interested in buying a holiday van in a Wollongong City Tourist Park, email holidayvans@wollongong.nsw.gov.au to check if the current owner has permission to sell the van.
If you buy a holiday van but the current owner doesn’t have written permission to sell, we won’t be able to transfer ownership. As a result, you won’t be able to enter into an occupation agreement or use the van. We’ll also ask you to remove the van, annex, and any associated structures off the site.
