Who can enter?

• To enter, you must be:

o 18 years of age or older; or
o Under the age of 18, with the consent of a parent or guardian

• Council employees and their immediate family and/or household members are not eligible to enter. 'Immediate family' means spouse (including de facto), child, parent and sibling (and includes ‘step’ variations of same).
• Council reserves the right to verify your details (including your age, address and the dates of your stay with Wollongong Tourist Parks).

How to enter

• To enter, follow these steps:

(i) Take a photo of your stay at any Wollongong Tourist Park. The photo must be taken between 22 December 2025 and 26 January 2026 (‘Photography Period’).
(ii) On 22 December 2025 – after 9am – post the photo publicly on Instagram or Facebook and add the tag #WTPSummer. Tag the @wollongongtouristparks account on the platform the photo was posted on (Instagram or Facebook). Your profile must remain public during the Photography Period and until 7 February 2026.
(iii) Follow our official social media pages @wollongongtouristparks on Instagram and Facebook.

• By entering, you grant Council an unconditional, non-exclusive, non-commercial, royalty-free licence to use or publish the photo for Council purposes, in electronic and print media, and on its social media platforms.
• Council accepts no responsibility for invalid entries or entries that are not identified by Council.

Entry Requirements

• Any photo that you submit must:

(i) be taken during the Photography Period;
(ii) be your original work; and
(iii) not contain any offensive, defamatory or inappropriate content.

• If Council is of the view that a photo does contain such content, your photograph will be disqualified and Council reserves the right to remove the image at its sole discretion.

The Winner

• A panel of judges will determine the winning photo based on creativity, relevance and visual appeal. The winner will be announced on Friday 30 January 2026 via the social media channels of Wollongong City Tourist Parks.
• The prize is a 5-day (4 nights) stay at a powered-site at any of the Wollongong City Tourist Parks (‘Prize’).
• The winner will be advised via direct message on social media.
• The decision of the panel is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into, including in the event of a dispute.

The Prize

• The Prize is only valid for powered-sites and is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
• The Prize must be used before 30 June 2026. However, it cannot be used during the following blackout periods:

o ON SEASON: NSW Department of Education Christmas School Holidays: Monday 22 December to Monday 26 January 2026
o Easter Long Weekend: Friday 3rd April – Monday 6th April

• If the full value of the Prize is not used in one transaction/booking, the remaining value of the Prize is forfeited.
• Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Prize are the responsibility of the winner.
• The booking can be extended at the expense of the person making the booking.

General

• Council may cancel or vary the photo competition at any time. Council will not be liable for any loss or cost you incur as a result of any such cancellation or variation.
• By entering the photo competition, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions.
