Holiday Van sites are currently not available.
The Park offers approximately 88 holiday van sites for long-term casual occupation under an Occupation Agreement in accordance with the Holiday Parks (Long-term Casual Occupation) Act 2002.
An occupant/s are granted the right to occupy a site for the purpose of installing a moveable dwelling, annexe and personal property for long-term casual occupation. The Agreement is for a fixed term of three months, and continues ongoingly until either the park owner or the occupant/s terminate the Agreement in accordance with the Agreement.
Under Rule 58, a holiday van site must not be occupied for a total of more than 180 days in a 12 month period (financial year) or continuously for more than 150 days.
Holiday van occupation fees are fixed at the beginning of each financial year, and the occupant/s agree to pay the occupation fees in advance on the first day of every quarter (i.e. 1 July, 1 October, 1 January and 1 April) in equal quarterly instalments.
Other charges include:
(a) an administration fee on any new occupant upon the execution of a new occupation agreement; and
(b) overdue occupation fees; and
(c) late payment fee, for failure to pay occupation fees in accordance with clause 11, currently $136; and
(d) an air conditioner levy; and
(e) the cost of electrical testing and tagging of the power lead connected to the site power head by a suitably qualified person appointed by the park owner in accordance with Australian Standards; and
(f) fees for additional car/trailer/boat kept on site; and
(g) the cost of the removal of a moveable dwelling, annexe and personal property abandoned onsite following termination of an agreement, currently a minimum of $1,500; and
(h) the cost of issuing a replacement fob (conditions apply), currently $64.
